We had a very productive day at Wardie Bay last Saturday doing some litter picking.
16 adults and 6 children collected 16 rubbish bags and a few bigger pieces of plastic. We met and chatted to some volunteers from Wardie Bay Residents group doing beach cleaning on the same day and planned to co-ordinate our efforts in future.
We do our beach cleaning/litter picking in collaboration with R2, a project, which has helped us to secure all our equipment and we are always happy to lend to other groups
.
