Smalls for All
We collect used (and new) bras and new pants to pass on to Smalls for All, a charity based in West Lothian. They collect underwear for people in Africa and the UK who can’t afford or can’t get any. Because dignity matters.
Our Funders
We are grateful to all of our funders, without whom Granton Goes Greener would not be possible.
Our Impact & Achievements
Since the project began we have passed on over 20 tonnes of clothing to be re-loved or re-used
– that’s the weight of 13 cars!!!
during August 2026
160KG
23.08*
tonnes
during August 2026
45KG
3.55
tonnes
During August: we had 16 first time visitors and 102 returning visitors
* How we calculate these figures
Although Share n Wear items are free, we do have a “checkout”. Every batch of clothes taken away to be re-loved is weighed and we tot up the figures at the end of the month.
We try wherever possible to re-home and recycle all of our donated items. However , some items are not suitable for recycling – damaged, soiled etc . We estimate that around 90% of our items are saved from landfill by finding new homes for them to be re-loved. The remaining small amounts are taken by Nathan’s Wastesavers for recycling. Read more about Nathan’s Wastesavers here.
