One City Trust visit Granton Goes Greener

We were delighted to welcome, just before Christmas, board members and trustees of the One City Trust. The group visited Share ‘n’ Wear on 21st December to see at first hand what a difference their funding is making to the project, and to present a cheque for £5,000 towards the work of Granton Goes Greener.

Representatives from Travis Perkins were also on the visit. The company hold the contract for new housing with Edinburgh Council, and 1% of the value of the contract go to the One City Trust to support community projects like ours.

Presenting and receiving the £5,000 cheque are, left to right, Michael Milburn (Travis Perkins), Kevin Laverick (Travis Perkins), Margaret (volunteer), Bryan Nolan (Travis Perkins), Lesley Ramage (City of Edinburgh Council), Betty Stone (One City Trust Trustee), Lynne (volunteer), Dan (Session Clerk), Anna (Project Lead) and Cllr Dennis Dixon (Trustee).
