Hi, I'm Anna
My name is Anna and I am a resident of North of Edinburgh, working on Granton Goes Greener project for almost 3 years.
I have a degree in interior design and completed my master degree in HRM at Edinburgh Napier University.
Prior to my work with Granton Goes Greener, I have been involved with different projects in North of Edinburgh, including facilitating a group for BME women established by Pilton Community Health Project, volunteering and helping with events at Granton hub and coordinating various community events like the annual ceilidh at Royston Wardieburn Community Centre or Granton Autumn Festival.
In the past, I have also done some work with young people in the area, when working on Young People Against Hate Project (EREC), delivering workshops on hate crime, discrimination, bullying and Equality Act.
I enjoy working with diverse community of North of Edinburgh and supporting individuals in need. When working on Granton Goes Greener, I always try to incorporate some elements of art, recycling and upcycling to our workshops and events, trying to raise awarness of environmental issues through educational and fun activities.
