As part of the Granton Goes Greener Project we run regular guided cycle rides around the local area. Granton has lots of cycle paths that follow the old railways lines. You can see maps of the cycle paths and other routes suitable for cyclists in Edinburgh  here.

Our rides are lead by trained cycle ride leaders and offer the chance to get outside, meet new people, get to know the local area better and improve your cycling skills.

Cycling is cheaper and healthier than using the car or public transport, more flexible than public transport and quicker than walking. It can save you money and help you get fitter as well as helping to save the planet!

Our first guided cycle ride took a group of people from Granton Parish Church  to the Festival of Walking and Cycling in Inverleith Park on Sunday 2 September.

Our second guided cycle ride to Cramond planned for the 23rd September had to be postponed due to different factors. We should have it rescheduled shortly so keep checking our website, Facebook and twitter for the update. You can find out more and sign up at the Facebook event.
