We are looking for enthusiastic people to volunteer to help us in our work to help Granton Goes Greener!
We have three roles, but are particularly looking for people to volunteer at the clothing swap shop:
Cycle Ride Leaders
Are you a confident cyclist with good communications skills? Then this may be an ideal opportunity for you to help local people improve their cycling skills while getting to know other people and finding out the best cycle routes in the local area.
Swap Shop Assistants
Do you love clothes and enjoy chatting to people? Are you passionate about re-se and recycling? We’re looking for people to volunteer for a rota to staff the swap shop on Monday evenings (4-5pm) and Friday lunchtimes (12 – 1pm). You would need to chat to people, weigh clothes and record what comes in and goes out.
Do you have your own car and some spare time? We’re looking for people to collect bakery donations from local businesses and then help distribute them to the local primary school.
If you want to volunteer with the swap shop then you can sign up for a shift at the Tuesday evening community meal or turn up on a Monday (4-5pm) or Friday (12-1pm).
If you want to be a volunteer cycle ride leader or if you want to make a long term volunteering commitment to the project, please complete a Volunteer Application Form.
